With the Ford Fiesta being the most popular new car in the UK it also means there’s an excellent supply of used examples for sale, as you can see by browsing through the CarGurus listings.
If stands to reason therefore that it’d be useful to have a few pointers to see what kind of things separate a good Ford Fiesta from a bad one, as well as what it’s like to live with in general. In our latest CarGurus Used Car Video Review we’ve done exactly that, focusing on the excellent seventh-generation model.
To do this we headed to Fords of Winsford, a top-rated car supermarket in Cheshire that stocks a huge range of used cars, including many examples of the Fiesta. Here we picked a rather nice 1.0-litre Titanium five-door model and set about explaining just what it is that makes this car so popular.
As you’ll see in the video above, a large part of it comes down to how good the Fiesta is to drive, with suspension that combines a good ride with excellent body control in a way that few cars at any price can match. Throw in precise, well-weighted steering and engines that are both responsive and frugal and you have a car that can appeal to both the head and the heart.
If all this sounds tempting you can start your search for a used Ford Fiesta at the CarGurus UK website, where of course we use our Instant Market Value tool to show you how the price of a car compares with others of a similar age, mileage and specification in your area. Our unique algorithm then adds in dealer ratings to show you the best deals in your area, rather than simply presenting a list that runs from the cheapest to the most expensive.
